The 2nd Annual Memorial Ride is coming up real quick. The 20th of February 2010 will be here before you know it.  We have been working hard to make this event better than last year and with your help, it is absolutely possible.

Are you ready?

The Helmet Center has donated an ICON ALLIANCE SSR helmet and a Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket to our event. We also have several personal items that were donated to our raffle by friends of the Gonzalez family. AZTrackDay has also contributed a couple of passes for a 2-Up ride at the Firebird Raceway. This experience will allow you to be a passenger at race speeds on the track with an experienced rider. We are also going to be having a poker run during this years Memorial Ride. At various points throughout the ride, all the participants will draw cards and log them on a piece of paper. At the end of the ride, you will have drawn 5 cards to complete your poker hand. The individual with the winning poker hand will win their choice of ANY Icon Alliance SSR motorcycle helmet The Helmet Center has to offer. The 2nd best poker hand will win their choice of ANY Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 motorcycle jacket that The Helmet Center offers. Details of the Poker Run can be found HERE.

The purpose of these events is to get together and remember a great friend and family member that was taken from us all too soon. Julio J Gonzalez. As part of that remembrance, we are trying to raise funds for the Julio J Gonzalez Scholarship Fund so that graduating seniors from Julio's alma mater, San Simon High School, can have an opportunity at furthering their education.
